1. There is no such thing as being perfect.
2. I learned to like San Francisco and appreciate it for what it is. But brr, I miss the heat!
3. I am a blonde. I am a natural blonde. God intended me to be blonde so I am never going dark again!
4. I don't need to have a plan, timeline and a list for everything. It is okay to just let things happen.
5. I am really good at what I do for a living.
6. I spent this year testing out my style, my hair, fashion, makeup...the whole 9 yards. Conclusion: ain't nothing wrong with dressing classic.
7. My mom was right about all of the above and more. Even after her passing, I still catch myself saying, "my mom so told me this."
8. I know who really, genuinely cares about me and wants me in their life. And I love them forever for that.
9. I am still not a party girl or drinker.
10. I love, Love, LOVE Pure Barre. The fact I haven't gone in two days is a bummer.
11. I say I hate running, perhaps all those laps in lacrosse has me jaded. But, when I go for a run I am the happiest.
12. I have learned that 3 egg donations is enough for me. I am so blessed and thrilled to help give 3 couples the gift of a half baby Emme. But no seriously, I have people close to me who struggle with this so I am so proud of myself for doing this.
13. There is nothing wrong with me because I am an introvert.
14. I learned to surround myself with people who will only bring me up, be happy and love life!
15. I learned ALL the neighborhoods in San Francisco and where they are at and who lives where. Etc: The Sunset (where I live) is next to the ocean and is full of the surfer bums and shut ins haha.
16. I learned that Toto's is my favorite pizza out here. But still not close to that yummy NY pizza.
17. I learned that making a list of a few things I am grateful for each day is an amazing thing to do.
18. I realized that it's time I buy myself a Louis Vuitton . SO I am going to get one next week with my friend, Annette after work. I work hard so why not?
19. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many people this year who have changed my life for the better.
20. I learned to deal and live with my really, really bad anxiety. I can always be better and I am working on that.
21. I noticed that even though my mom isn't physically here she is here in other ways. I feel like I am turning into a mini Susie. Which is good and bad haha. Good because she loved so strong, she said what was on her mind and she was just so classy and classic. Bad because I make up words like her and add the letter "s" after things. Ex: Barnes and Nobles etc. My brothers remind me of this on the regular.
22. I overcame a lot this year. I feel like I really beat my depression's butt and like I mentioned before, my anxiety isn't stopping me from living anymore.
23. Lastly, I learned that the people that matter most will always be there, never judge you, never make fun of your problems or put you down. These are the people that I need to worry about, not anyone else. These are the people that will be by my side for the long haul.
