Almost a month later

My apologies guys! I have been SO busy lately that I have neglected my blog and I really hate that. This past month I have made a lot of drastic changes in my life and now I am ready to kick some blog butt! Also I don't know if any of you have ever fixed a house from scratch by yourself. I'm talking drywall, electrical and everything in between. Gavin and I are doing just that in our beach cottage and we are almost done...2 years later. We just need to finish hanging drywall and painting in our living room. With all that being said this means I now have time to post #OOTD posts and pictures of all the rooms and how I decorated. A lot of my stuff has been DIY. I never had the desire to live in CA. In fact, if you take my personal style and beliefs, CA is the exact opstite haha. Especailly San Francisco. So, I wanted to make sure my hous reflected my preppy, nautical east coast roots.

Also, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I spent my first Thanksgiving in San Francisco this year. Normally they were back home in NY, or down in LA with my dad. Although, two years ago Gavin and I spent Thanksgiving in DC when he left flight school for the weekend. That was a lot of fun! I wanted my outfit to be really simple and comfy. I just wore a plain white Polo sweater, a cute skirt from Target and my staple, my Tory Burch riding boots. These were a very pretty penny but oh man where they worth it! Such good quality, so classic and SO comfy. Ignore Gavin and my brothers messy room.
