Anxiety and tips to deal with it :D

I want this blog to really represent who I am. I love fashion, I love music and art but there are also things I battle with every single day that make me who I am. I was diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety when I was a freshman in college. While my friends were out having fun I would be in my room alone because the thought of going out and being social literally was painful (anxiety) and then I would get panic attacks. On top of that I became very ill my spring semester and had to drop out of college that semester because I was in and out of hospitals and had surgery. One of my biggest accomplishments that I do not give myself enough credit for was graduating college on time despite all of this. But I really want to help others deal with anxiety and depression. Even if this helps one person that means the world to me. 

Living with anxiety and depression is an awful thing. BUT it doesn't have to always be that way. Once I educated myself on what was wrong, and found the right support groups and outlets for my depression it made a huge difference. It has been a long journey and it takes a lot of work but just always remember...things get better, there is ALWAYS a silver lining and people love you. You may not see any of this right away, heck for me it took years but I am seeing it now and I am glad I stayed on this crazy ride of life to get to experience all of these beautiful things.
